Eating Disorder Treatment/Group Therapy
OUT PATIENT EATING DISORDERS SKILLS/SUPPORT GROUP
WHO: For females 17-30.
WHAT: The group offers support and concrete alternate coping skills building for those who are actively in treatment for Anorexia, Bulimia and other forms of disordered eating.
WHEN: Wednesdays 730-9pm.
WHERE: 2 Overhill Road, Scarsdale, NY.
FEE: $75 per weekly session with an initial minimum commitment of 10 sessions. The group is open-ended. An initial full bio-psychosocial assessment/screening is necessary to enter the group at a one-time fee of $200. We do not participate in managed care plans but would be happy to provide a monthly receipt for submittal to out-of-network benefits if applicable.
OUT PATIENT BINGE/EMOTIONAL EATING GROUP
WHO: For females ages 25 –60
WHAT: This group is for those who have tried everything! It includes open discussion as well as CBT techniques, peer support and alternative coping skills building.
WHEN: Thursdays 745pm-9pm
WHERE: 2 Overhill Road, Scarsdale, NY.
FEE: $75 per weekly session with an initial minimum commitment of 10 sessions. The group is open-ended. An initial full bio-psychosocial assessment/screening is necessary to enter the group at a one-time fee of $200. We do not participate in managed care plans but would be happy to provide a monthly receipt for submittal to out-of-network benefits if applicable.
Additional eating disorder treatment groups are also forming in the NYC office in the evening hours.
